This year, we would like to offer Season 2 for Softball Players!
If you are interested, please fill out this survey;
If there are enough interested players to form teams at any or all levels of play, and a coordinator steps forward, we will open S2 Softball Registration and inform you via your email address.

S2 Levels of Play

Minor/Major League (ages 8-12):  Continuous batting order, with no player normally sitting more than 2 innings defensively. Mix of Minor and Major rules.

Rookie League (6-8): The Rookie League is a machine pitch (coach-assisted) league. This league is instructional and developmental in nature.

Tee Ball League (4-6): Introduction to game of baseball, following regular season "Advanced" format.

A player at the top of their level's age may "play up" a level during S2, to give them an introduction to that level for next season.  For example, an 8 year old who played Rookie level during the regular season may play Major/Minor in S2, and a 6 year old who played Tee Ball during the regular season may play Rookie level.  This may be subject to an evaluation by the coaches and commissioners of the league.

Game for the 2019 Second  Season ("S2") runs from as early as August 5 until at least August 26 (though no later than August 30). Games are scheduled weekday evenings.

Major/Minor - Tuesdays/Thursdays
Rookie - Mondays/Wednesdays
Tee Ball - Thursdays (possible some Tuesdays)

Appleton Little League plays at Scheels USA Youth Sports Complex, Appleton Parks & Recreation, Appleton Area School District, and Fox Crossing’s Palisades Park fields. Our league could not operate without the support of these community participants.

Founded in 1958, Appleton Little League (A.L.L.) served nearly 800 boys and girls in 2018. A.L.L. operates under two Little League charters, geographically-split, offering both baseball and girls softball at several playing levels, including tee ball.

The baseball and softball divisions are each under the management of a dedicated Commissioner & Player Agent, who report to a Vice President of Baseball and Softball, respectively.

Appleton Little League charters are National (North) and American (South), with the Fox River as the dividing line. See the boundary map  for details.
